Bring a lot of beach wear.. If you are staying at an all inclusive bring something for going out in the evenings… A lot of shorts tank tops and t shirts flip flops.
What to do
Enjoy yourself and do not compare Jamaica with where you are from. GO on a boat ride… Enjoy all the things the facilities have to offer.. Go visit Corner Bar and all the other evening spots…
Law for tourists…..
Do not break any of the laws that you would not do in your home country…. NEgril is pretty safe…
You will be among the most beautiful beach in Jamaica. If you’re staying at a Super-Inclusive resort like Sandals or the Grand Lido…
here’s what to bring… lot’s of beachwear, dress casual attire, no shorts or sleeveless shirts or gym shoes allowed during dinner time. sun block, insect repellent and a large mug with a lid!! (to limit your drink runs).
There is plenty to do. Take advantage of the free activities the resort offers (water and land). Do a few excursions and most of all relax and enjoy.
Laws for tourist apply just as they do for citizens. DON’T BREAK THE LAW. Especially out of your native country.
Just be careful and enjoy!!
stayed at sandals negril last year for my honeymoon loved it, i would at least get a concierge level room the room service was really convienent, we stayed on the beach and in the pool bar most of the time, the horse riding is a little overated and the shopping trip kind of sucked if i was you i would stay at the resort and enjoy the beach. If you smoke cig’s carry plenty with you, you are allowed a carton each because they are $11 a pack there, you will be asked to buy weed by almost everyone its up to you it is against the law but it goes on all the time do it at your own risk. one tip for the airport on the departing flight if there is a long line offer one of the security some money i paid him a 20 and he took us directly to the ticked desk we saved about 2 hours of standing in line. oh and one more thing if you are going to eat at the resteraunts on the resort may reservations the day you arrive because the fill up fast
relax and enjoy yourselves once you leave you will want to go back
and i hope you like redstripe beer its the only beer they serve
