Where is a good honeymoon location for September/October?

My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon but are having some difficulty settling on a specific location. I would love something tropical but I am a little leary due to hurricane season. We are not wanting to spend too much money but would like somewhere nice and romantic. We are more than willing to stay in the US. Any suggestions are welcome.

If it were me, I’d go to New England to see the fall foliage and visit the little fishing villages dotted along the coast. Not exactly tropical, but still beautiful.

Hawaii is wonderful that time of year – for that matter so is Alaska – you could probably get good deals either place because the kids are in school.

My favorite island is the big island of Hawaii but Kauai is wonderful for honeymooners!

    Have a great time!
